Regional School Unit 10 (RSU 10) – Rumford, Maine
Summary
EEI has worked with RSU 10 over multiple phases to improve energy efficiency, building performance, and long-term facility planning across the district. The partnership began in 2018 with a $1M performance contract focused on lighting, envelope, and controls upgrades at four schools.
Phase 2, completed in 2024, expanded the scope with a $2M comprehensive renovation across Mount Valley High School, Buckfield High School, and Hartford-Sumner Elementary School. Phase 3 began in Summer 2025 and continues through 2026, addressing roofing, ventilation, life safety, and interior space improvements.
