Community impact

Sustainable Solutions For Stronger Communities.

Locally owned. New England focused. Community driven.

Energy Efficient Investments (EEI) was founded in 2007 with one goal: to help New Englandcommunities improve their buildings while reducing energy use, saving money, and supportinglong-termsustainability. What began as a small group within ENE Systems quickly grew into anindependent, full-service Energy Services Company (ESCO) rooted in technical expertise, personal commitment, and local values

Now proudly led by President and Owner Mike Davey, along with Vice Presidents Kerri Warms and Eric Lafayette as partners, EEI remains family-oriented, locally owned and operated, and deeply connected to the communities we serve. Headquartered in New Hampshire, all of our employees live and work in New England—and so do all of our projects.

As a NAESCO-accredited ESCO—the only one based in New Hampshire and the only oneserving New England exclusively—EEI brings national-level standards with a local, boots-on-the-ground approach. We specialize in energy performance contracting, decarbonization, building electrification, HVAC design-build, controls, security, and infrastructure renewal. Ourteam brings decades of hands-on experience, guiding schools, municipalities, hospitals, andnonprofits through complex technical upgrades while maintaining a sharp focus on comfort, quality, safety, and return on investment.

From securing grants and utility incentives to designing and managing turnkey energy projects,EEI does more than deliver results—we build real partnerships. We believe in honest work, transparent communication, and long-term relationships. Whether we’re upgrading a ruralschool’s HVAC system or transforming a municipal campus for electrification, our mission is thesame: earn our client’s loyaltythrough trust, performance, and unwavering community commitment.

This is our home. This is our work. This is EEI.

Setting the Standard for Local Energy Solutions

EEI is proud to be a New England company—founded here, based here, and fully focused on serving the region’s schools, towns, and public institutions. For nearly 20 years, we’ve partnered with communities to improve building performance, reduce energy costs, and modernize critical infrastructure through thoughtful, hands-on work.

In 2024, EEI earned full accreditation from the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO)
—the gold standard for identifying the most qualified EnergyService Companies (ESCOs) in the country. We’re proud to say that EEI is the onlyNAESCO-accredited Energy Service Company both headquartered in New England and dedicated solely to serving this region.

That’s no small feat. NAESCO accreditation is typically awarded to large, global corporations that offer performance contracting as a smaller offering within a wide range of unrelated services. EEI stands out not only for being locally owned and operated, but for building our entire business around the needs of public sector clients right here in theNortheast. Every project reviewed during the accreditation process came from our own regional portfolio—and every customer interviewed was a school district, town, or agency in our backyard.

To achieve NAESCO accreditation, EEI underwent a rigorous, expert-led evaluation of our engineering, financial modeling, savings verification, customer service, long-term performance, and business ethics. That review confirmed what our clients already know:we deliver results, we stand behind our work, and we know how to make performance contracting succeed in New England.

When you partner with EEI, you’re choosing a team that’s accountable, local, and proven —with the same national credentials as the largest firms in the industry, and theregional commitment that only a true New England company can offer.
